Let’s start with a brief overview of Digital Marketing,

Are you a student, entrepreneur, employed professional, or just an enthusiast who came across this relatively new term Digital Marketing and wondering what this is all about and want to make to MAKE IT BIG just like the dudes who have achieved their goals of financial freedom with the right use of this very powerful tool called DIGITAL MARKETING ?

I know you had butterflies in stomach the very moment you read MAKE IT BIG !!

How do i know that?

Well i would like to say “Been there, Done that!!”

Come on, now let’s focus on the topic and lemme explain what digital marketing actually is, its basics, few of its important fundamentals anddddd,

To begin with lets dissect the very word “Digital Marketing” into two parts,

first being “Digital” and second “Marketing”.

in the context of Digital Marketing is the component of marketing that utilizes internet and online based digital technological mediums such as desktop computers, mobile phones and other digital media and platforms to promote products and services.

Marketing means “the activity, set of instruction and processes for creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large” Marketing is profitably using the results of studying short term and long term needs of those who can pay for a one-time, or in most cases, a steady flow of service or product placement.

Now let us club these both and come up with a simple definition of digital marketing.

Digital marketing is advertising delivered through digital channels. Channels such as social media, mobile applications, email, web applications, search engines, websites, or any new digital channel.

  • C- Content- Content is the king so create content that attracts people from your niche. Put out your content on social media, blogs, youtube channels, etc.
  • A-Attention: Drive attention i.e traffic to your content using SEO, social media, paid ads like Google ads, Facebook ads, youtube SEO, Viral marketing, or any other means.
  • T-Trust- Build trust with people through repetitive engagement. Hook the user by getting an email subscription or social media following. This helps in retargeting the user.
  • T- Transaction: Convert your leads into customers through the natural sales method. You may have offers in your specific niche and this may help you attract targeted customers.

In a nutshell CATT funnel is a blueprint to your successful digital marketing gig.

Now as we know our CATT framework, we also should know how important it is to select the right niche,

right?

A niche is an area of expertise in which you will specialize, this may be something you have knowledge of, are passionate about, or have the required talent of a particular domain. Niche selection guides the kind of products or services you will focus on, partnerships you will accept, content you will produce, and customers you will try to attract. You also need to look out for the market for your specific area of expertise to monetize your knowledge and skills.

It should ideally be an amalgamation of your talent, passion, and market to be successful.

Most businesses choose a broad niche, then focus on something even more specialized within it. For example, choosing a health coach is a broad niche but specialized would be something like a mental health coach or a weight loss coach.

I cannot emphasize enough the importance and positive impact of NICHE selection.

With a NICHE complementing your passion your journey to success becomes easier and you will be in the race for the longer run.

Now lemme talk about one of the most important soft skill which can SKYROCKET your journey to success,

It is COMMUNICATION, EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION to be precise.

I have never seen a successful person who is not a good communicator.

For example,

NARENDRA MODI is a personal brand, people know his political party because of him. We end up endorsing him because we trust him , right?

Personal branding has become crucial nowadays because people want to hear from people and not from brands. It even has a downside i.e a personal brand cannot be invested in or it cannot be sold but the brighter side is a personal brand can give rise to many brands by his/her influence.

Because technology will be integrated to humanity as a part of our anatomy in the very near future. With such integration the marketing domain will evolve to be completely digital and very minimalistically remain traditional. And marketing will exist as long as humans will have things to sell.
